Empowering Communities
One Church at a Time

We believe that the church is for the people and should model Christ in restoring freedom and hope by becoming a servant rather than being served.  We address community needs and economic growth through the local church.

Our goal is to have a church in every nation of Africa and a school and Bible College in every church.

And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything they had.  They sold their possessions and shared the proceeds with those in need.  They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes and shared meals with great joy and generosity—all while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people.  And each day the Lord added to their numbers.  –Acts 2:44-47

Church Affiliates

In an effort to compliment and support local leaders in each region, we provide a leadership structure for the purpose of promoting communication, fellowship, leadership training, oversight, accountability to outcomes, and paths to ordination.  The organizational structure of a Crio International affiliated church is intentionally minimal.  We focus on developing strong, trusting, interpersonal relationships with the church leaders and partnering in a spirit of friendship to serve the community.  As we empower leaders and listen to the existing needs and opportunities, we encourage local ownership of the outcomes.  It is their work, not ours.

Launch a Church

We feel that it is the responsibility of the local church to help meet and address the real social needs of a community.

Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us.  James 1:27
